Dragon & Rooster

Opened in January 2026 at the corner of Angela and Duval Streets, Dragon & Rooster is an intimate 30-seat modern bistro bringing pan-Asian fusion to the heart of Key West. Meals begin with hot tea service, a thoughtful traditional touch, and nearly everything on the menu is prepared in-house — familiar staples like pho, fried rice, and ramen, elevated with a twist and real visual pop.

Take the owner’s recommendation: the Rooster Rice, with charred chicken, snow peas, bell pepper, mushrooms, and pineapple, packed with flavor and freshness in every bite. The shareable Asian Pear Salad in sesame garlic dressing is a delightful vegan option, the Dragon Rice pairs shrimp with pork belly, and the yin-yang rice plates jasmine and Chinese forbidden black rice with fried fish and Thai herb sauce. Spice lovers can test themselves in the “Dragon Section.” Finish with the Pineapple Ginger Crème Brûlée, and sip a Lucky Lychee or the non-alcoholic Yin and Yang — dragon fruit and lychee, refreshing enough to drink by the gallon.
