Hidden down Watson Boulevard on Big Pine Key, just before the bridge to No Name Key, No Name Pub is a true Keys legend — a rustic pub dating back to the 1930s whose walls and ceilings are blanketed in signed dollar bills left by decades of visitors. Seating runs indoors and out, the vibe is laid-back Old Florida, and if you’re lucky you may spot a Key deer on your way in. It’s been rated among Zagat’s most highly rated restaurants in all of South Florida, and locals will tell you it’s worth every mile of the drive.
The kitchen is famous first and foremost for its pizza — billed as the best in the Keys — and the Shrimp Pizza Pie with red sauce backs it up, with a crust that’s crunchy yet moist and a deeply flavorful sauce. The conch fritters are among the best around, the Philly cheesesteak is made with sliced ribeye and really rocks, and a Cobb salad topped with Key West shrimp is the lighter order that never feels like a compromise. Honestly, the hardest part of a visit is choosing.
